Hi You Alls! So 10 months later back to blogging..yup.

For the past 10 months all I've been doing was researching and enquiring repeating that process all over again. Frankly there wasn't much to update before but now I can finally say that the search for the wedding vendors for both fiancé and I are finally completed! I admit things were not exactly smooth sailing for the two of us. All we could ever do is fight, fight and fight. Be it about or jobs or finance.

I am known for job hopping. I left my first job back in August 2013. Worked for this China company between August 2013 to November 2013 at raffles for almost 3 months. Pilih kulit la biasa, besides, I'm the only Malay in the company. Dislike the way they treated me as if I'm trash so I decided to buat perangai and just left without any notice. Perangai melayu sak. And so my career till the end of 2013 has been nothing but horrible. Worked a part- time job in order to get this full time job from this big agency but ends up got cheated. SERIOUSLY? Yes, perangai mak dia okay? I was thankful enough that this former manager didn't asked any agency fee from me to secure the "full-time job". Berbual macam ye-ye. Mintak kene sekel.

I was at the point of giving up in life knowing that I need a lot of $$$ to save for the majlis . Time is just ticking. Ever since these situations occurred, the both us fight till no end. Mainly, I was at fault because I was greedy. Greedy for money and  a job that can stabilise our future. Siape taknak, you tell me? I've been going for so many interviews and rejected most of the jobs that was offered since it's nowhere near my experience or preferred. Until one day I decided to just accept this permanent job as an admin in this IT shop at Funan. Kebodohan terserlah. Stayed for the next 4 months until I decided to play around at Jobstreet.com and started applying again.

Stumbled upon this hotel's list of vacant jobs and applied as an accountant. I applied just trying out my luck. But I knew their benefits are just out of this world. Free complimentary nights to all the hotels or resorts all over the globe. Thus, my honeymoon stay is totally covered except for my flights. Meals provided for staffs (this is important. Save duit habis!)  And furthermore my dad works under the same company but mine is the sister property, so, we have the same offered benefits. Hari-hari berdoa tau harap2 dapat kerje ni. But Alhamdulillah here I am,7 months later,  an accountant  at The Regent Singapore (A Four Seasons Hotel). Couldn't be more grateful and happier with my job with all the doa's from my parents and fiancé. End of my long awful story.

Eh berhabuk nya! It's been 5 months! Okay la, at least the past 5 months masih belum lagi start booking any vendors. Tapi syukur Alhamdulillah, I've managed to strike out some major ones. Semua amik and had a serious decision making dengan secepatnya with the approval of my parents, him - gile punye pompan. First come first serve basis ar. Nanti takot tak dapat vendor yang I nak, nanti menyesal pulak la kan. So far I've already booked for my décor, in-house solemnization dais and photography. I'll do a breakdown for it.

Décor - Kalau Ade Jodoh
Honestly, I've never heard or know that Kalau Ade Jodoh ever existed. I was browsing through Peti Solek TBR's pictures until I stumbled upon this particular bridal photo shot. The first attraction was obviously Peti Solek's crazy,gorgeous nak mampos bridal outfit that bride's wearing, second attraction was the pelamin dais. I love how simple and pretty the backdrop is, the fresh flowers at the sides, and everything la, tktau macam mane lagi nak elaborate! I was really eager to know who's the vendor until I read the photo's comments- this lady is my savior. She immediately recognizes who's works that belongs to and tanpa membuang mase I teros search them through instagram. Couldn't stop squealing on how lawa their décor is while browsing through each of their photos! Told my mom about them and she fell in love with their works too!

Ape lagi, I immediately PM-ed them on facebook, enquire for their quotation and made an appointment with them. Headed down to their place, I think they're husband and wife ar if I'm not mistaken. HAHAHA! Sorry la, orang tak pay attention la kan what's the relationship between the 2 of them. Orang tengah excited nak berdiskusi tentang package tu. We conversed roughly an hour - which I did 99.99% of the talking. My tunang yang shy shy cat can only let out an "oh okay/okay la, not bad/I sembarang". & the best part is, they're really flexible with the payment wise! I just have to pay a deposit of $500 upon the confirmation letter of agreement and the balance will be brought forward to next year!

People usually took their "Rustic vintage" theme - which I reaaaalllllyyyy love! And insya'allah I'll be taking that too. But apparently in the upcoming months, they are going to launch new décor themes (English/Elegant décor and some other which I totally forgotten).  But we shall see la hor. Masih long way to go. Hehehe. Apart from that, the cost of the package really fits into my budget. VERY AFFORDABLE FOR MPH/VOID DECK OKAY! Compared to the "MegaXpress International" that I went to, which was held in Expo between 9 Jan-12 Jan, harga package diorang was way over my budget and paling melampau for just décor aje shoot sampai $7K? No eh, NO! Kalau $7K untuk Chanel Bag, yes I sanggup bayar. HEHEHE!


In-House Solemnization Dais - Bonito By Bob
Well, initially, our plan to hold our nikah was at the MPH. But due to my malu kucing tunang, he wants it to be held in my house. Once again, with the approval of both our sides, we decided to do that. And then, my research began. Seen all the works from different vendors annnnnddddd I've decided on Bonito By Bob. It wasn't that hard to fall in love with all his works. Cuma sayangnya he has already discontinued the gubahan of wedding trays. If not, I would've already taken him for that as well la. Hais big time. Tapi tak mengapa. I'm happy enough that he'll be doing the in-house solemnization décor. Hehehe. Pm-ed him immediately and agreed on the Letter of Agreement. Budak tak tau sabar!


Photography - Feline Bridal
This one ar, I really mintak kene smack-correction, the both of us mintak kene smack. We decided to take them SEBELOM kite even bertunang okay! It was back in Dec 2012 which was held in Expo (duh). Be mad with us all you want but we really think that this is a really damn good deal. Initially, bile kite tengah jalan-jalan, skali one of their people decided to steer us to their booth. We were trying so hard to elak diorang, tapi malangnya fail tahap maksima. End up kite kene tuan kedai punye sweet talking. Terpakse lah kan, orang tu dah semangat explaining everything. Unnnnnntillllllllll, we
kena brainwashed by her.


We absolutely loveee the ceramic photobook that opens from the middle, I don't know how to explain it, but it does makes sense to me, lol. The long frame that they'll compile all the photos together, table top frame and some other stuffs that I can't remember. Takpe, bile ade free time nnti korek balik tu contract kasi detailed description. Hahahaha!! The best thing about their photography service is, their open date is within 5 years. Some other vendors are between 2-3 years, correct me if I'm wrong ar. The next important thing to be strike from my checklist is to find an awesome videography crew!

That'll be all for now. Will be religiously doing my research on all vendors and their ex-customers reviews. I'll try not to be so OCD about planning my wedding. Haha! Till then!

Well, it has been years since I last stepped into Blogger. I can't remember the last time I was here. Maybe a good 7 years? Well anyway, just put up this blog just because I also want to kpo-kpo like the rest of the future BTB's. Hehehe. So, my mind just went blank as we speak, and I don't really know how to continue this any further. So I'll just leave this a very short one. Till next time. Ciao!
